Walk on the wild side.

Want.

What do we want from life?? The never-ending definitive question. Something philosophers and great men of knowledge have been searching for and endeavored to answer throughout history and time. People finding meaning, writers bleeding on paper their thoughts on what it means to be alive. But what do we want? Truly and with such certainty that nothing shakes us or shifts us towards a different path. We all WANT to know. Want to be assured that our purpose is somewhat fulfilled or something is accomplished on our being on earth.

I have never wanted something so much in my entire existence as I do now. People say, don’t do what you feel but think hard with your mind, rationally and logically. When does logic stop and what runs in your blood and your heart is acted upon? Passion. That is what it is, the force that drives us to do wonders, to build extraordinary bridges, to have the guts to believe in something no one else stands behind, to BE longing and striving for your deepest, most “foolish” desire.

Passion takes no genius to work out, no mathematician to calculate your losses, no law binding agreement to make you accountable, and no boundaries when it comes to what you are capable of. It flows in every one of us; we just have to find it. The fire that by no means should extinguish or vanish into thin air.

I want that Passion. I want that fervor. And I do want to reach greater heights in life. To pursue. To become…now not only what I WANT to become, but what I NEED to become to justify all efforts and be the human being I know I can develop into. Life isn’t just the destination, it’s the journey – no matter how corny or overused that saying is, I do think it’s not just the objective but what you go through that molds you and changes you, the souls you encounter and experiences that you discover each and every day.

Just something to chew on.

Peace,

Adeline
