2010 - my fashpirations... ;)

We lost a famous fashion icon yesterday. Alexander McQueen, your clothing and art will always inspire the hearts of many. Your legacy and momentous discoveries in fashion will be engraved in history and your creations never forgotten.

Thank you for transcending fashion and giving us culture and dreams!

.................................................

Since we are on the topic of fashion:
Some of my own fashion icons and inspirations, prominently and currently are my muses.

Is it weird that most of them are men?? I am this fascination with men's wear and androgynous outfits!

Diane Keaton in Annie Hall - firstly, I love this movie!!
Directed by Woody Allen. and Annie just was an inspiration for me
to try out oxfords and hats and oversized clothing made for men.
she did it with such class and it just seems so effortless and chic!

next of course would be Alexa Chung...
Two words: impeccable taste! <3>

Brandon Flowers
Glamorous indie rock fashion icon!! love his suits, vests and
glitzy over the top outfits!! he brings flair to men's fash.

Punk rock goddess...Love this woman's mixes!
Her clothing always seems to be so LOUD and IN YOUR FACE.
definition of bold and beautiful.

LOVE the purple.

Julian Casablancas!

This man can rock a jacket and a plain tee any day!
The Strokes front man does dishevelled very well, with rock and roll attitude
and devil may care stance! He just looks great in army coats, leather and hardcore gritty stuff.

Ezra Koeing. most current <3>

Vampire Weekend are just so smartly dressed every single time.
With their preppy Polo shirts/Gap sweaters and pastel colors, the nautical/ivy league look
totally works on them. They make nerdy look fashionable. :) love it.

So those are my fashpirations...of 2010!

Don't ask me why I love them...I just do! ;)

Peace,
Adeline
